PM Modi’s First Decision Post Ayodhya Visit: Ambitious Plan to Install Solar Rooftops on 1 Crore Houses

In a landmark decision following his visit to Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the “Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana,” aimed at installing rooftop solar panels on one crore houses across the country. The announcement was made today after the Prime Minister participated in the “Pran Pratishtha” rituals of Ram Lalla.

Expressing his vision for a self-reliant India in the energy sector, PM Modi emphasized that the initiative would not only benefit the poor and middle class by reducing electricity bills but also contribute to India’s energy independence.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister stated, “All the devotees of the world always get energy from the light of Suryavanshi Lord Shri Ram. Today, on the auspicious occasion of consecration in Ayodhya, my resolution got further strengthened that the people of India should have their own solar rooftop system on the roof of their houses.”

Addressing a gathering after the consecration of Ram Lalla in the Ram Temple, PM Modi highlighted the significance of the temple, stating, “This is a temple of national consciousness in the form of Ram. Ram is the faith of India, Ram is the foundation of India.”

PM Modi expressed his reverence for Lord Ram, stating, “Ram is the idea of India, Ram is the law of India…Ram is the prestige of India, Ram is the glory of India…Ram is the leader and Ram is the policy. Ram is eternal…When Ram is honoured, its effect does not last for years or centuries, its effect is for thousands of years.”

The ambitious “Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana” is poised to not only empower households with sustainable energy solutions but also align with India’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
