In Madhya Pradesh, 25 children have died from toxic cough syrup. On Thursday, the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) decided to investigate and sample test pharmaceutical companies manufacturing the syrup nationwide. The government has requested a list of syrup manufacturers from all states and union territories to assess their quality and safety.
