Two petitions were filed in the Supreme Court on Friday against the Waqf Amendment Bill. This petition has been filed by Congress MP Mohammad Javed from Kishanganj, Bihar and AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi. The bill was passed after 12 hours of discussion each in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on 2 and 3 April.
