Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has been commissioned as a Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) in the Territorial Army. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi conferred the title on him at an investiture ceremony in Delhi on Wednesday. His mother Saroj Devi, father Satish Chopra, uncle Bhim Chopra, and wife Himani Mor were also present.
