The Supreme Court has issued notice to the central government and the Union Territory of Ladakh on a petition challenging the detention of Sonam Wangchuk under the National Security Act. His wife, Geetanjali Angamo, has called the detention illegal and demanded his release. Wangchuk was arrested on September 26.
