In a shocking incident, Nationalist Congress Party leader Baba Sidhiki was shot dead in Mumbai this while en route to his office. police reports that he was fired upon three times. Sidhiki was taken to Leelawati Hospital but was unfortunately declared dead upon arrival. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
