Mrunal Thakur: Lost Films As Parents Did Not Approve Of Intimate Scenes

Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur, who co-starred with Vijay Deverakonda in the movie Family Star, recently talked about how uncomfortable she gets doing bold scenes on screen. The actress revealed in an iDiva interview that she had lost a lot of movies because she was uncomfortable and her parents did not think well of them. Mrunal stated: “I didn’t feel very at ease performing scenes that were romantic or intimate. I would simply refuse to watch a movie when I got scared, but for how long could I refuse? There came a time when I had to tell my parents, “Papa, I can’t miss this part because sometimes it happens and it’s not my choice.”
She further continued, “As much as I wanted to do a film, I had to drop because there was a kissing scene involved. As an actor, you need to be ready because sometimes that’s the demand (of the scene). If you are not comfortable, you can tell, you can talk about it but I kept missing out on films because of that.”
Finding a balance between work and life was a topic the Love Sonia actress discussed in an earlier interview with Humans Of Bombay. Maintaining a healthy balance between life and work is crucial, but finding that balance takes constant effort. I am aware of how difficult relationships can be, so you should look for a mate who is aware of the demands of your profession.” Mrunal Thakur responded, “Yes, I’m also considering that,” when asked if she would freeze her eggs like actress Mona Singh did.
The last time Mrunal Thakur appeared with Vijay Deverakonda was in Family Star. She had previously been seen with Nani in Hi Nanna. She’s going to be in Pooja Meri Jaan soon.
