West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Thursday that her government would name its rural employment guarantee program after Mahatma Gandhi. She also criticized the BJP-led central government for renaming the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) to VB G Ram Ji.
