‘Mahabharata’ actor Nitish Bharadwaj, who portrayed Lord Krishna in the television series, has lodged a police complaint against his ex-wife, Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS Smita Bharadwaj. The actor claimed in his complaint that Smita had been mentally abusing him for a considerable amount of time.
Nitish Bharadwaj wrote to Harinarayanachari Mishra, the commissioner of police in Bhopal, pleading for assistance. The actor claims that in addition to mentally abusing him, his ex-wife prevents him from seeing his twin daughters. The Bhopal Police Commissioner has directed an investigation into the complaint made by Nitish Bharadwaj. Additional DCP Shalini Dixit has taken over as the investigation’s supervisor.
Confirming the same, Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra said, “We have received a complaint from Nitish Bharadwaj. We are investigating the matter and trying to find out the facts.”
Nitish Bharadwaj portrayed Lord Krishna in the widely watched television series “Mahabharata.” Because of his portrayal of Lord Krishna, he became well-known.
On March 14, 2009, Nitish Bharadwaj wed Smita, an IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre. The twin daughters of the couple are currently eleven years old.
Nitish and Smita divorced in 2022 after 12 years of marriage, but they broke up in 2019.
