Notable screenplay writer Salim Khan has said that the Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has given assurances to Salman Khan and his family this afternoon when he met them, two days after gunfire was heard outside the actor’s Bandra home.
“What would have happened if someone had been hurt? There’s no assurance. It is good that the whole family is protected, he said, adding, “We are not afraid. The death date is set in stone.”

“The Chief Minister told us that protection will be provided and that he will ensure these extortion calls stop,” he said.

Salim Khan responded, “No,” when asked if the family had received any extortion calls. However, these incidents typically occur to extort. Although they claim that Blackbuck is no longer involved, their true intentions are different.”

Mr. Khan commended the police for their quick response, saying, “The Mumbai Police acted swiftly and quickly made the arrests.”

Speaking to reporters outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments earlier today, Eknath Shinde pledged to “finish Lawrence Bishnoi”.

There will be no gang warfare permitted. This is not going to happen. “(Lawrence) Bishnoi will be finished,” he declared.

Two men on a bike arrived outside the actor’s family’s Bandra residence, the Galaxy Apartments, on Sunday morning at around five in the morning and fired four rounds.

The CCTV cameras installed in the area revealed that the men who were arrested today arrived carrying backpacks and were donning caps. The actor’s residence was observed being fired upon. A white t-shirt, black jacket, and denim pants were worn by one of the suspects, while a red t-shirt and denim pants were worn by the other.

According to police sources, the two are part of a gang headed by infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is incarcerated in Tihar Jail on charges of multiple high-profile killings, including that one.
