Lover Sends Parcel Bomb to Married Ex-girlfriend’s House in Gujarat; Husband and Daughter Killed

In a tragic incident that shook Vadali in Gujarat, a parcel bomb explosion claimed the lives of 32-year-old Jeetubhai Heerabhai Vanjara and his 12-year-old daughter Bhumika. The horrifying event unfolded on Thursday, leaving the family shattered and the community in mourning.

According to authorities, the parcel, disguised as a harmless tape recorder, was sent to the Vanjara household by Jayantibhai Balusingh Vanjara, allegedly in retaliation for an affair between Jayantibhai and the deceased’s wife. As Jeetubhai innocently attempted to plug in the device, it detonated, instantly ending his life and critically injuring his daughter, Bhumika, who later succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital.

The mastermind behind this heinous act had reportedly traveled to Rajasthan to procure materials for the improvised explosive device (IED), including gelatin sticks and a detonator. Identified through CCTV footage, the auto-rickshaw driver who delivered the lethal package played a crucial role in leading the authorities to the perpetrator.

Jayantibhai was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement, who revealed that his motive stemmed from resentment over his former girlfriend’s marriage to Jeetubhai. This act of vengeance not only claimed lives but also left two other Vanjara daughters, aged 9 and 10, with severe injuries to their eyes and chests. As one fights for her life on ventilator support, both girls are undergoing treatment in Ahmedabad.

The Vadali community remains in shock as investigations into this appalling crime continue.
