In a shocking turn of events, a Lamborghini sports car was engulfed in flames in Hyderabad’s Pahadi Shareef area on April 13, allegedly ignited by individuals embroiled in a dispute with its owner. The incident, captured on video and circulating widely on social media, has stirred astonishment and outrage among viewers.
The vibrant yellow-colored 2009 model, valued at approximately Rs 1 crore, became the center of attention as flames consumed it on the roadway, leaving bystanders in disbelief.
According to police reports, the car owner, seeking to sell his prized possession, had enlisted the help of friends to find a potential buyer. However, matters took a sinister turn when a primary suspect, purportedly acquainted with one of the owner’s associates, demanded the vehicle be brought to Mamidipalli Road on the outskirts of Hyderabad that fateful evening.
Upon its arrival, the suspect, accompanied by others, allegedly resorted to drastic measures, dousing the luxurious car with petrol and setting it ablaze. Their purported motive? A claim that the owner owed them money.
In response to a complaint lodged by the individual entrusted with transporting the car, authorities have initiated legal proceedings, registering a case under Section 435 IPC (mischief by fire or explosive substance with intent to cause damage). The investigation is underway.
