The doors of Kedarnath Temple in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand closed for the winter season today. The army band played traditional tunes during Baba’s farewell. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also arrived at the temple to witness this sacred moment. Baba’s palanquin will travel 55 kilometers on foot from Kedarnath Temple and reach Ukhimath on October 25th.
