Renowned singer Mika Singh recently shared some intriguing anecdotes involving comedian Kapil Sharma and social media personality Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK. Speaking to The Lallantop, Mika divulged details about a dramatic incident from 2012-2013 when Kapil’s anger towards KRK almost led to a confrontation at the latter’s residence in Dubai.
Mika revealed that KRK was his neighbor in Dubai during that time. According to Mika, Kapil was furious with KRK over certain remarks and insisted on meeting him in person. “Kapil paaji was very upset with KRK. When he realized KRK was my neighbor, he wanted to confront him and even suggested beating him up,” Mika recounted. Despite Mika’s attempts to dissuade Kapil, the two ended up visiting KRK’s residence at around 4-5 am. However, KRK was not home at the time, and only his staff was present.
“Kapil broke some glasses at his house and caused a bit of a ruckus,” Mika admitted, adding that he managed to calm Kapil down before the situation escalated further.
Mika also shared another incident involving singer-rapper Honey Singh and KRK. According to Mika, Honey Singh was upset with KRK over some comments and sought Mika’s help to address the issue. “Honey told me, ‘Paaji, he says such things,’ and we decided to visit him together in Dubai,” Mika said.
Feigning drunkenness, Mika and Honey confronted KRK. Mika claimed that things got heated, and the duo behaved rudely with KRK. “Apparently, we even pulled his hair. The next day, KRK complained about our behavior, but I told him I didn’t remember anything because we were drunk,” Mika recounted humorously.
Mika also mentioned that several Bollywood celebrities, including Ayushmann Khurrana and Kapil Sharma, have been upset with KRK over his controversial remarks in the past.
Mika and Kapil share a close friendship, with the singer often appearing on Kapil’s comedy shows. Their camaraderie is well-known, and this story sheds light on their off-screen dynamics as well. Kapil recently concluded his Netflix special, The Great Indian Kapil Show, further cementing his status as one of India’s most beloved entertainers.
