Amidst a brewing political controversy, Bollywood actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut vehemently denied claims suggesting she consumes beef and other red meat. Ranaut, who recently stepped into the political arena, took to her Instagram Stories to address the rumors, labeling them as “shameful” and “baseless.”

The uproar ignited after Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar alleged that Ranaut had previously admitted to consuming beef. However, Ranaut swiftly rebuffed these allegations, asserting her adherence to a vegetarian lifestyle. “I don’t consume beef or any other kind of red meat,” she clarified, expressing her dismay at the attempts to tarnish her image.

In her Instagram statement, Ranaut emphasized her longstanding advocacy for yogic and Ayurvedic principles, stating that such rumors would not succeed in misleading her supporters. “My people know me,” she declared, reaffirming her pride in her Hindu identity with the invocation of “Jai Shri Ram.”

The controversy deepened when BJP leader Shaina NC criticized Wadettiwar’s remarks, denouncing them as devoid of substance and reflective of a lack of ideological integrity within the Congress party. “This is not the first time the Congress has made such ludicrous comments,” she remarked, highlighting the ongoing political skirmishes.
