Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has addressed the recent death threats he received from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. While promoting his upcoming film Sikandar in Mumbai on Wednesday, the actor interacted with the media and was asked if he felt fearful due to the threats he received last year.

Salman acknowledged the increased security around him and admitted that it isn’t easy being constantly surrounded by security personnel. He remained philosophical about the situation, stating, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai. Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hai.”

For context, in April 2024, gunshots were fired outside Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai’s Bandra area. It was later revealed that the attack was allegedly orchestrated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, with the gangster’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claiming responsibility in a Facebook post. Following this incident, Salman’s security was significantly strengthened.

In July, the actor recorded his statement in connection with the case, asserting that the gang had been targeting him. Recalling the attack, he stated, “I heard a cracker-like sound. Around 4:55 AM, my police bodyguard informed me that two individuals on a bike had fired shots at the first-floor balcony of Galaxy Apartments.”

Salman further noted that this was not the first attempt to harm him or his family, adding, “I learned from social media that Lawrence Bishnoi took responsibility for the attack. Based on this, I believe the gang was behind the firing. Previously, Bishnoi and his gang members had spoken in interviews about their intent to kill me and my family. It appears they attempted to execute their plan while my family was asleep inside.”

Despite the threats, Salman remains unfazed, focusing on his professional commitments while adapting to heightened security measures.
