With a subscriber base exceeding 500 million, JioHotstar aims to revolutionize entertainment and sports streaming in India.

JioHotstar boasts a vast content library, offering 300,000 hours of programming in 19 languages, ranging from Bollywood and Hollywood blockbusters to international franchises and reality shows. The merger consolidates premium content from both JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar, ensuring diverse entertainment options for Indian audiences.

Our ‘Infinite Possibilities’ promise ensures that entertainment becomes a shared experience, not a privilege. By leveraging AI-driven recommendations and offering content in over 19 languages, we’re personalizing viewing like never before,” said Kiran Mani, CEO – Digital, JioStar.

The platform incorporates AI-powered recommendations to enhance user experience. While basic access is free, premium subscriptions start at Rs. 149, with seamless migration for existing subscribers. JioHotstar prioritizes sports streaming, providing live coverage of major global and domestic tournaments, including the IPL, ICC events, Premier League, Wimbledon, Pro Kabaddi, and the Indian Super League (ISL). The service features 4K streaming, multi-angle views, and real-time statistics for an immersive experience.

“JioHotstar is setting a new standard for digital-first entertainment. The platform is immersive, inclusive, and audience-focused. With endless entertainment options, we’re committed to continuous innovation, elevating storytelling, and ensuring every Indian, regardless of language, finds content they love,” added Kevin Vaz, CEO – Entertainment, JioStar.

Additionally, JioHotstar has launched ‘Sparks,’ an initiative designed to support India’s digital creators, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent and engage with audiences.

The rebranding of JioHotstar marks a milestone in India’s digital entertainment landscape, offering advertisers extensive reach and data-driven personalization. With its user-centric approach, the platform is set to redefine the country’s streaming experience.
