The most expensive and most powerful earth observation satellite till date, NISAR, was launched today, i.e., Wednesday, July 30. It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota at 5:40 pm through GSLV-F16 rocket. This satellite has been built jointly by NASA and ISRO.
