Indian woman, 24, dies on Melbourne-Delhi flight, her first visit in 4 yrs

Just before takeoff in Australia, a woman of Indian descent, traveling for the first time in four years to visit family in India, passed away on a Qantas flight. According to news.com.au, the incident occurred on June 20, when Manpreet Kaur, 24, was prepared to take off from Melbourne for Delhi. Nevertheless, not long after boarding the aircraft at Tullamarine Airport, Kaur experienced a medical incident.
The 24-year-old student apparently “felt unwell” hours before reaching the airport, but she boarded the flight without any problems, according to a friend. However, Kaur ”died on the spot” after falling to the ground while trying to fasten her seat belt.

“When she boarded the aircraft, she had trouble fastening her seatbelt. She died instantly after falling in front of her seat just before takeoff, according to her friend Gurdip Grewal, who spoke to the Herald Sun.
According to her roommate, Kaur was employed at Australia Post and aspired to be a chef.

One of her friends, Gurdip Grewal, sought monetary help on social media. “Manpreet, our beloved friend, departed from us too soon, leaving an unfillable hole in our lives. We want to unite in our grief to honor her memory and provide for her family during this difficult time. Even though these are our last goodbyes, every little bit of support helps us get one step closer to our objective. We and Manpreet’s family are so grateful for your support,” he wrote.
