Indian captain Shubman Gill was admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata on Saturday evening. He did not take the field on Sunday, the third day of the first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially announced this in a social media post.
