Indian-American Couple, Twin Sons Found Dead At California Home

A family of Indian descent was found dead at their residence in California, apparently the result of a murder-suicide. Anand Sujith Henry, 42, his wife Alice Priyanka, 40, and their twin children, Noah and Neithan, 4, have been identified as the family.
Authorities found the corpses after a family member requested a welfare check because no one was home when the call came in.

Anand and Alice, an Indian-American couple, were discovered inside a bathroom, dead from gunshot wounds. The twin children were discovered dead in a bedroom, with the cause of their death still under investigation.

“When the responding officers found no answer, they searched the outside of the house and found no evidence of forced entry. Officers entered the house after spotting an open window and discovered four bodies—one adult male, one adult female, and two children,” according to the police.

From the restroom, a loaded magazine and a 9mm handgun were found.

Records indicate that the couple paid $2.1 million for the house in 2020.

Police preliminary analysis points to a potential murder-suicide scenario, but they haven’t ruled out other options.

The family, originally from Kerala, had been living in the United States for the past nine years. Two years ago, Anand, a software engineer, and Alice, a senior analyst, moved to San Mateo County from New Jersey. Described as friendly, hardworking, and devoted parents, the couple was liked by both neighbors and colleagues.

Anand filed for divorce in December 2016, but the separation was not finalized in court, according to court documents.
