NEW DELHI: With the Strait of Hormuz blocked due to the Iran-Israel war, India is set to procure 30 million barrels of crude oil from Russia. According to Bloomberg, Indian Oil (IOC) and Reliance Industries have finalized major agreements. While reports suggest a 30-day US waiver for stranded shipments, Indian officials asserted that India’s energy decisions remain entirely sovereign and independent.
