India Beat England In 4th Test To Seal Series

In the fourth Test of the five-match series, India defeated England on Monday in Ranchi by five wickets thanks to a solid partnership between Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel. Chasing 192, with 55 runs from Rohit Sharma and 37 from Yashasvi Jaiswal, India got off to an incredible start.

Nevertheless, India lost wickets quickly one after the other, but Gill (52) and Jurel (39) forged an unbeaten partnership and saw their team through. Shoaib Bashir took three wickets for England. India’s unassailable 3-1 lead over England in the five-match series has increased with this victory. In the Bazball era, this is England’s first Test series defeat.

Additionally, this is England’s first series loss since Brendon McCullum became head coach. After regrouping at 40 for nil, India overcame a few nervous moments to chase down the 192-run target in the afternoon session.

The last game will be played in Dharamsala from March 7.
