In his farewell speech, CJI BR Gavai said, “I practice Buddhism, but I believe in all religions and am completely secular. I learned secularism from my father, who was a follower of Babasaheb Ambedkar. I have visited dargahs and gurudwaras since childhood. Today is my last working day; I will retire on November 23rd.”
