Heavy gunfire has been reported near Venezuela’s presidential palace in Caracas following the President’s arrest. For the past 45 minutes, continuous shooting and the sounds of drones or aircraft have been heard in the area. Several parts of the capital are experiencing power outages, raising fears of escalating unrest and instability in the country.
