Govindan Ranganathan, director of Srisan Pharma, the company that manufactured the cold-relieving cough syrup that led to the deaths of children in Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Madhya Pradesh government raided Chennai on Wednesday night and apprehended Ranganathan. The SIT also seized important documents, drug samples, and production records from the company.
