Gold and silver prices rose for the third consecutive week. However, silver saw a significant surge this week. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of one kilogram of silver was ₹178,210 on December 5, which increased by ₹16,970 in a week to reach ₹195,180 per kg. This is the highest price ever recorded for silver.
