    Frederick Wallace Smith, the founder and executive chairman of FedEx, one of the world’s largest logistics companies, has died at the age of 80. FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam has informed the company’s staff about this by sending an email. Frederick started FedEx in 1973 with 389 people and 14 small planes.
