Former Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has been staying in his government bungalow (5, Krishna Menon Marg) beyond the stipulated time period. Now the Supreme Court Administration has written a letter to the Central Government. It said that the former CJI should be asked to vacate his bungalow soon, so that we can include it in the court’s housing pool. There are 33 judges in the Supreme Court including Chief Justice BR Gavai.
