On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s plane made an emergency landing at Agra airport due to a technical issue. After addressing a rally in Agra, Adityanath was safely escorted to another plane for his flight to Lucknow.
The issue arose when the pilot noticed a problem with the plane’s brakes shortly after takeoff. As a precaution, the plane was diverted back to Agra. Thankfully, Adityanath was unharmed, and no injuries were reported.
This incident occurred just two days after the completion of eight years of Yogi Adityanath’s BJP government in Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier in the day, during an event celebrating the BJP’s eight-year tenure, Adityanath accused the opposition of hindering the state’s progress. He highlighted the struggles faced by the youth, farmers, and the poor, recalling a time when many young people suffered from an identity crisis, farmers were driven to suicide, and the poor faced extreme hunger.
The Chief Minister emphasized the positive changes under his leadership, stating, “This is the same state where youth couldn’t find jobs, and those who left for work faced an identity crisis.” He also criticized Congress and the Samajwadi Party for allegedly opposing development and making misleading comments when it came to the pride of Uttar Pradesh.
