A young couple in Ghaziabad went to the zoo to begin their day. Both had died less than twenty-four hours later. While Abhishek Ahluwali, 25, passed away from a heart attack, his wife Anjali, who was unable to handle the shock, committed suicide by jumping from the seventh story.
According to family members, Abhishek and Anjali tied the knot on November 30. The two had decided to go to the Delhi Zoo on Monday. According to family, Abhishek felt a pain in his chest there.

Later that day, Abhishek was pronounced dead by doctors. The cause of death was determined to be a heart attack. Around nine o’clock at night, his body arrived at the newlyweds’ Ahlcon Apartments in Vaishali, Ghaziabad. Anjali, unable to handle the shock of her husband’s passing, hurried to their balcony on the seventh floor and leaped out. She suffered severe injuries and was taken to Max Hospital in Vaishali. She departed from this life in the early hours of today.

“After the body was brought home, she sat next to it, crying,” stated Babita, Abhishek’s relative. “Abruptly, she stood up and ran in the direction of the balcony. She was going to jump, I thought. She leaped before I could stop her, even though I was running after her,” she said.
