News agency ANI quoted defense sources as saying that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has spoken to US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has appealed to the US to put pressure on India to behave responsibly and reduce rhetoric.
Sharif also told US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that India’s provocative attitude can worsen the regional situation.
