    Congress, BJP neck and neck in Haryana

    In Haryana, the BJP and the Congress are leading with five Lok Sabha seats each, and notable figures like Manohar Lal Khattar, Kumari Selja, and Deepender Singh Hooda are expected to secure significant victories.

    Trends reported by the Election Commission showed that the Congress was leading in Ambala, Hisar, Rohtak, Sirsa, and Sonepat, while the BJP was leading in Karnal, Gurugram, Faridabad, Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, and Kurukshetra.

    In the Karnal seat, former chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar was expected to win with ease, having secured an unchallenged lead of 2,02,432 votes over his Congress opponent Divyanshu Budhiraja.

    Rao Inderjit Singh, a union minister and current Gurgaon MP, was ahead of Raj Babbar of the Congress by 46,197 votes.

    In the Sirsa seat, Congress veteran Kumari Selja was leading her BJP opponent Ashok Tanwar by a significant margin of 2,51,017 votes.

    Senior Congressman Deepender Singh Hooda has also amassed an unchallenged lead of 2,52,994 votes over current BJP MP Arvind Sharma in Rohtak.

    In the Ambala constituency, the Congress’ Varun Chaudhary was leading over his BJP rival Banto Kataria by 33,310 votes.

    Congress candidate Jai Prakash was ahead of the BJP’s Ranjit Chautala in Hisar by a margin of 25,910 votes.

    BJP candidate Krishan Pal Gurjar wins by a margin of 1,67,538 votes over main rival Mahender Pratap Singh of Congress

    Saini won the seat with a margin of 41,483 votes. He polled 94,714 votes, while his nearest rival Congress candidate Tarlochan Singh polled 53,231 votes.
