The Supreme Court has issued a major ruling in the case of the stampede that occurred during a rally of actor-politician Vijay’s party, Tamil Nadu’s Tamil Nadu Vakkal Kazhagam (TVK), in Karur. Accepting TVK’s petition, the Supreme Court has ordered a CBI investigation into the matter.
