NEW DELHI: AAP MP Raghav Chadha raised a significant demand in the Rajya Sabha for an ‘Inflation Linked Salary Revision Act.’ Speaking during the Union Budget 2026-27 debate, Chadha highlighted that real earnings of salaried Indians fell by 16% between 2018 and 2026. He urged a statutory law to ensure automatic salary adjustments, protecting the private workforce from eroding purchasing power.
