NEW DELHI: Precious metal prices witnessed a major correction today as silver crashed by nearly ₹28,000 (11%) on the MCX, reaching ₹2.40 lakh per kg. Gold prices also dropped by approximately ₹3,000 per 10 grams. This sharp decline follows a two-day rebound, driven by heavy profit-booking and a broader sell-off in the international markets.
