The Chandigarh bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has quashed the selection process for promotion to the post of Junior Account Officer (JAO) at the PGI (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research). The tribunal held that the examination criteria cannot be changed during the recruitment process without issuing a corrigendum or notification.
