On Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) revealed the lineup of its 27-member manifesto committee for the impending Lok Sabha elections. The announcement was made by BJP National President J.P. Nadda.

Heading the panel will be Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman appointed as the convenor, and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal as the co-convenor.

The committee comprises esteemed BJP leaders including Vasundhara Raje, Smriti Irani, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Dharmendra Pradhan, Arjun Munda, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Kiren Rijiju, among others.

Notably, the 27-member committee also features Chief Ministers from four states: Mohan Yadav, CM of Madhya Pradesh; Himanta Biswa Sarma, CM of Assam; Vishnu Deo Sai, CM of Chhattisgarh; and Bhupendra Patel, CM of Gujarat.
