On Sunday night, actor Deepika Padukone attended the 77th BAFTA Film Awards 2024. She gave actor Jonathan Glazer of The Zone of Interest the Best Film Not in the English Language award. In addition to Jonathan Glazer, the following films were nominated for the same category: Society of the Snow, Anatomy of a Fall, Past Lives, and 20 Days in Mariupol.

Deepika stepped on the stage amid applause from the audience and announced the award. For the BAFTAs, Deepika Padukone wore a golden and silver-hued shimmery saree. In India, the awards streamed live on Lionsgate Play. The ceremony took place at the London Royal Festival Hall. The list of other presenters included David Beckham, Dua Lipa, Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh, Hugh Grant and Lily Collins.

Among the guests at the event were Prince William, Florence Pugh, Andrew Scott, Emma Stone, and Robert Downey Jr. Deepika represented India as a presenter at the Oscars after making a major impression there the previous year.

She recently thanked everyone for the opportunity to present the BAFTA Awards. Deepika recently uploaded a picture to Instagram Stories with the caption “Gratitude.”
