On Thursday, two armed individuals robbed a jewellery shop in broad daylight, escaping with gold worth lakhs. According to the police, the robbers stole 100 grams of gold valued at around Rs 9 lakhs from a jewellery shop in Phase-10. The culprits also took additional jewellery and cash from the counter at gunpoint, targeting the shop’s owner, Gitanjali.

Witnesses reported that the duo arrived on a scooty but abandoned it at the scene while fleeing. They wore caps, goggles, and fake beards to conceal their identities.

Phase-10 SHO Naveenpal Singh stated, “Teams are scanning the CCTV footage of the shop. Further investigation is under way.”
