The US and the European Union (EU) have reached an initial trade agreement. Under the agreement, the US will impose a base tariff of 15% on most goods coming from the EU. This includes cars, medicines and electronics goods. US President Donald Trump announced the agreement at a meeting with EU President Ursula von der Leyen in Scotland.
