The ACB court of Ahmedabad City Sessions Court gave its verdict on Friday in the 2018 Bitcoin robbery and kidnapping case. 14 accused including former BJP MLA Nalin Kotadiya, former SP of Amreli Jagdish Patel, former police inspector Anant Patel were sentenced to life imprisonment. The Gujarat government had handed over the investigation of this high profile case to the Ahmadabad CID. In the year 2028 itself, many policemen including the SP were arrested in this case.
