A fire broke out on Monday morning on the Singapore cargo ship MV WAN HAI 503 in Kochi, Kerala. The cargo had left Sri Lanka’s Colombo Port on June 7. It was scheduled to reach Jawaharlal Nehru Port (Nhava Sheva Port) in Navi Mumbai on June 10. According to the Indian Coast Guard, 18 crew members were on board the cargo at the time of the incident.
