On the occasion of Nag Panchami, special prayers are being offered in Shivalayas and Nag temples of Madhya Pradesh. The doors of Nagchandreshwar temple located on the third floor of Shri Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain were opened at 12 midnight. Mahant Shri Vineet Giri Maharaj of Mahanirvani Akhara performed Trikal Puja.
