The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday reprimanded actor-director and leader Kamal Haasan for commenting on the Kannada language. The court said, “On what basis have you made this statement? Are you a historian or a linguist? Whether you are Kamal Haasan or someone else, you have no right to hurt anyone’s sentiments.” Now the next hearing of this case will be on June 10.
