Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan said, ‘On May 10 at 1 am, Pakistan had planned to bring India to its knees in 48 hours, it launched simultaneous attacks at several places and escalated the conflict, but its plan failed even in 8 hours. After this, fearing huge losses, Pakistan sought a ceasefire.
