In Manipur, the army and police seized 86 weapons and 974 ammunition in a joint operation on Tuesday morning. This operation was carried out in Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching and Vishnupur. Security forces have been conducting searches in the state for the past one week. Earlier, 10 militants were arrested in an operation conducted from July 7 to July 14. This search was conducted in five districts.
