Actor Kamal Haasan had said that Kannada language was born from Tamil. After this statement, the Karnataka government banned the release of his upcoming film Thug Life. The actor has appealed in the Karnataka High Court against this decision of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC). The film is to be released across the country on June 5.
