Raina, who gained fame after winning Comicstaan Season 2, has amassed wealth through YouTube, brand deals, live comedy shows, and exclusive content, with estimates placing his net worth between Rs 140 crore ($16.5 million) and Rs 195 crore. Allahbadia, known for his motivational content and podcasts, reportedly holds a net worth of approximately Rs 60 crore ($7 million), earning around Rs 35 lakh per month from his ventures.
Controversy Over ‘India’s Got Latent’
While their earnings continue to soar, Raina and Allahbadia have recently come under fire for controversial remarks made on India’s Got Latent. The show, known for its bold humor, faced a public outcry after Allahbadia made explicit and inappropriate comments during a recent episode. His remarks included a question about the “size of a contestant’s p****” and an inappropriate offer involving Rs 2 crore. He also posed a disturbing hypothetical question regarding witnessing or participating in an intimate act involving one’s parents.

The Guwahati Police have registered an FIR against Samay Raina and the panel of judges, which includes Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija, and Ranveer Allahbadia. The charges revolve around promoting obscenity and engaging in sexually explicit discussions on a public platform. Following the uproar, the Mumbai Police also visited the Khar studio where the show was recorded but have since left the premises.
Additionally, Bombay High Court advocate Satyam Surana has filed a complaint against Raina and Allahbadia with the Mumbai Police, demanding strict action for their role in the controversial episode.
