NEW DELHI: Coal stocks at India’s domestic coal-based power plants have remained above 18 million tonnes since September 29, according to the Coal Ministry. Stocks stood at 18.205 million tonnes on October 10. Officials said supplies have kept pace with daily consumption, helping maintain stable inventories and support electricity generation across the country amid ongoing demand from power utilities nationwide.
